A word about the salamanders...
When I was young, I would often go into the woods after a rain and loved finding the orange spotted salamanders under wet leaves and along the muddy paths. (They’re actually newts as I later learned.) They were bright spots in the muck, tiny miracles, never muddy themselves and, to me anyway, just adorable. My consultancy work is like finding salamanders. I love helping organizations get beyond the muck of the moment and start seeing the possibilities and beauty in front of them.
